My madre keeps insisting that I put these pictures on my blog. I know that it's now October and I made these Fourth of July cookies on, well, the Fourth of July, but she won't give up. As you can see by my wet hair, I enjoy swimming in the lake as much as I enjoy baking cookies. (Not a huge fan of this picture, but it's the only one I have of the cookies!)
As you can see, I also baked a scrumptious flag cake. Oh the anticipation, as we cut into it, hoping that it actually looked like a flag! Everyone cheered as we pulled out the first piece and, oh my goodness, there actually was a flag inside!
