Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving weekend! Oh and I hope it was much  warmer than the Thanksgiving we had here in Spokane!  Notice all the snow in the background of the pictures?! It got as low as 3 degrees last week...can you believe it?! Brrr!!!

I baked up a few scrumptious pumpkin pies for the holiday.  Okay, pies aren't my forte, but I think they tasted pretty delicious!

Gobble! Gobble!

This is my first batch of cookies in a wonderful partnership I've formed with Empowering, Inc. Services. I'll be making cookies for this great organization for a number of special occasion in the future.  As I work toward my Master's of Social Work degree, I've been completing my practicum at Empowering, Inc. Services.  It's a wonderful place full of wonderful people and I've learned so much from my time there.  The proceeds from these cookies will benefit Empowering, Inc., the non-profit arm of EIS that promotes experiential play.

It's Party Time!

Okay, it's not really party time.  It's eleven o'clock on a school night and I should be going to bed...but there's something about these colorful sprinkles that makes it feel like a party!

P.S.  I apologize for going a little overboard on the pictures! Hehehe...it's late, please excuse all the silliness.

An Apple a Day

You're supposed to eat an apple a day to keep the doctor away, right?  These kind of apples count, I promise.
