Changing Colors

These cookies did double duty.
First, I took them to the farewell luncheon for my internship at the Northwest Immigrants Rights Project.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and am very thankful for this experience.
Second, I brought a batch of these babies to my new book club.
They go perfectly with wine and a little book talk.

Gobble! Gobble!

This is my first batch of cookies in a wonderful partnership I've formed with Empowering, Inc. Services. I'll be making cookies for this great organization for a number of special occasion in the future.  As I work toward my Master's of Social Work degree, I've been completing my practicum at Empowering, Inc. Services.  It's a wonderful place full of wonderful people and I've learned so much from my time there.  The proceeds from these cookies will benefit Empowering, Inc., the non-profit arm of EIS that promotes experiential play.
