Cupcakes and Birthday Cake

My lovely friend, Jennie, celebrated her birthday today.
So I made her cupcakes and some birthday cake...
all in cookie form, of course!

On a side note, the address for this page is officially jujubeesbakery.com!
After months of waiting, I've finally been able to switch back to Jujubee's Bakery.
So happy!
So here's an official, warm welcome to Jujubee's Bakery!
And, of course, today I accidentally used an old Jujubee's Bake Shoppe tag...oops :)

Here Comes the Bride!

My friend, Amy, is getting married!
We had a work bridal shower for her today at work.
I attempted to make these cookies and cupcakes to match her wedding colors.
The cupcakes looked pretty good...the yellow on the cookies, not so much.
It kind of looked like a sugar cookie with a piece of American cheese on top.
Perhaps that's why I didn't take a picture of 'em :)
But I can assure you it didn't take like American cheese....just yummy sugar cookies!

It's Party Time!

Okay, it's not really party time.  It's eleven o'clock on a school night and I should be going to bed...but there's something about these colorful sprinkles that makes it feel like a party!

P.S.  I apologize for going a little overboard on the pictures! Hehehe...it's late, please excuse all the silliness.

Boo!

I'm sorry if I scared you, but it is Halloween after all!  Can I console you with a itty bitty chocolate cupcake?!  HOPE School held their annual Harvest Party this evening.   Little ghosts and princesses running around everywhere. So cute!

Extra Frosting

What d'ya do with some extra frosting?!  Mini-cupcakes are always a delicious option! Extra frosting? But there was no blog entry with scrumptious pink frosting, you say. Well, it was left over from a cake I made for my Aunt Sandy's birthday :)  Anyway, while the cake was great...the pictures, not so much.  So you'll just have to settle for looking at these cute little cupcakes!

Sprinkle Time!

I've always loved these rainbow nonpareils!  I also love how many different names sprinkles have...jimmies...ants...I think my favorite is hundreds and thousands.

Itty Bitty Cupcakes & Kickball

What's the perfect compliment to kickball?!  Well, mini-cupcakes of course.  Mission Possible held the 2nd annual kickball tournament this weekend to raise money for our service work in Central America.  Kickball provides the perfect distraction from the craziness of law school.

Happy Birthday, Amy!

On Monday, HOPE School, a non-profit pre-school for children with hearing loss, celebrated their wonderful teacher's birthday!  For the big event, I whipped up some scrumptious chocolate cupcakes with cream cheese frosting.  Check out these cute little kiddos!

BBQ Cupcakes!

No the cupcakes aren't barbecue flavored, I just made them for a barbecue.  I had pretty short notice for these puppies, so I whipped out the old classic - vanilla on vanilla.  I think the bright pink frosting adds a nice pop though!

Mission: Possible

To soften my return to law school, I decided to make some scrumptious cupcakes for our first Mission: Possible meeting.
I've been so privileged to be a part of this organization since I started law school.   The friends I've made and the I've had are invaluable.  Plus, look at these little faces!  Not much can leave a more profound impression on a person!

Birthday Cupcakes!

Josh is turning 21 on Friday!  I'm going to miss the big celebration because I'm heading to Seattle for my best friend's wedding.  So, I surprised him a week early with some scrumptious cupcakes.  I adapted the recipe from one that my favorite bakery in New York City uses.  The turned out pretty delicious but I think the frosting needs a little more tweaking.
