GO HUSKIES!
My friends are HUGE Husky football fans!
Too bad we had a big loss to USC today...
at least we could console ourselves by eating some cookies!

Changing Colors
These cookies did double duty.
First, I took them to the farewell luncheon for my internship at the Northwest Immigrants Rights Project.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and am very thankful for this experience.
Second, I brought a batch of these babies to my new book club.
They go perfectly with wine and a little book talk.

Cupcakes and Birthday Cake
My lovely friend, Jennie, celebrated her birthday today.
So I made her cupcakes and some birthday cake...
all in cookie form, of course!
On a side note, the address for this page is officially jujubeesbakery.com!
After months of waiting, I've finally been able to switch back to Jujubee's Bakery.
So happy!
So here's an official, warm welcome to Jujubee's Bakery!
And, of course, today I accidentally used an old Jujubee's Bake Shoppe tag...oops :)

Happy Halloween!
These spooky Halloween cookies are looking forward
to being gobbled up by some little ones at an elementary school shindig!
I was delighted to donate the proceeds to Seattle Children's Hospital.
Monday Night Dinner

Meet my friends: Jackie, Jennie, Jolie, and Tarrah.
Yes, there are a lot of J's in our group.
We all met when we joined the same sorority at UW almost 10 years ago.
(Ten years ago...that makes me feel old.)
In our sorority, we had mandatory chapter dinner every Monday night.
After college, the Monday night dinner tradition continued.
Because I've been away from Seattle for the past five years
(again, I feel old...I've been out of college for five years!),
I haven't been to too many MND's.
This Monday I hosted my first one!
After dinner I taught my friends all my cookie decorating secrets.
Okay, I don't really have any secrets...but I showed them how it's done.
Very impressed with their decorating skills!

Yummy Mummies!
These guys are pretty silly, no?
They didn't turn out quite like I'd hoped,
but they're still some very YUMMY MUMMIES!

Ahhhhh!
Don't be frightened!
They're not really Frankensteins, just cookies!
Don't worry...even if they did have some sort of crazy Frankenstein power,
my friends gobbled them all up so they can't get you now.
Happy Halloween!

3-Day for the Cure

As I mentioned in my last post, I recently participated in the
Each year I participate in this event,
I learn more about the power of hope and the strength and resiliency carries with them.
It is truly inspiring!
Over the past two years, I've been very lucky to be on the Starbucks team
(my walking mate, Jennie, works there).
These ladies have not only provided fabulous support through all 60 miles of the walk,
but have helped me big time when it comes to fundraising!
So thankful to know you, Suzie, Jun, Tanhya, and Jennie!
P.S. Yes, I realize I'm in a bit of a swirl design rut, but I just love how they turn out! I promise some new fun designs for the Halloween season!

PINK!
Following my entirely PINK weekend walking the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure,
I was going through pink withdrawals, so I though I'd make some pink cookies!
These were really the first cookies I've made since I moved to Seattle and
I could not find anything I needed! As I unpacked, I must have shoved all my cookies making supplies into random corners, because it took FOREVER to find anything!
Oh well! Now I'm all organized and ready to make the next batch!
